Project description

Intellectual property, for example in the form of patents or copyrights, protects inventors from free riders and thus creates incentives to invest more in research and development and in creative works. IP is also relevant to the rapidly developing field of blockchain technology and applications. In this project, the IPI wanted to better assess the current and, above all, the future need and possible use-cases of DLT in IP services.

Method

  • Interview with Stakeholder
  • Online survey
  • Desk research
