Nicolas Greber
Economist
Biography
Nicolas Greber is an economist at Swiss Economics. His work focuses on modeling and simulating energy markets, in particular the evaluation of market designs, incentive mechanisms, and regulatory interventions. He uses agent-based models and multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) to realistically map complex interactions between market players. At the same time, he is pursuing a PhD in Management & Economics at the University of Zurich, specializing in energy economics. Nicolas holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Bern (specializing in industrial economics) and a master's degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen, specializing in digitalization and data analysis. He also contributes his expertise to the Swiss Economics blockchain team.
